Christ Church and St Paul’s love to come together to worship God!

Both sites have people of different ages and backgrounds coming together with one purpose – to worship God and connect with others!
We wholeheartedly believe in the local Church. That it should be a relevant and inspiring place where people can experience God and be equipped to live as lights in the darkness.
Not every sunday is the same but we have core elements that are found every week:

WORSHIP
We make no secret of the fact that we Love God. The Bible says that we were created to have a relationship and a connection with Him and that connection to God excites us. We love music and singing songs that reflect the passion we have for our God. We devote lots of time to corporate sung worship.

MESSAGE
The Bible is amazing. What other book was written thousands of years ago and yet can help a decision that you are making today? At our Sunday gatherings we will bring relevant, life applicable messages from the Bible that speak into your situation and environment. We want people to be challenged, inspired, instructed and encouraged.

PRAYER
Prayer is so important. As Christians we cannot do without it. It is our way of communicating with our heavenly father. We devote a lot of time to prayer within our Sunday services.
We have a prayer ministry team who make themselves available at the front to pray for people after each service. Look out for the coloured lanyards.

TEA & COFFEE (and if you get there before the kids – maybe a biscuit!)
Church is God’s family, not a building. We believe in building friendships and a sense of “family” and if it’s over great coffee, that’s even better! We encourage people to stay for coffee and tea after our Sunday morning service so that we can chat and catch up! We join together again for tea and coffee BEFORE the evening service.

CHILDREN ARE IMPORTANT
At our Sunday gatherings we run various programmes for those aged 0 to 11 years. Kingdom Kids is the children’s church within Christ Church. We welcome children of all ages, even if only visiting for one week. We break out into the following groups:

  • Crèche – for 0-3 year old
  • Busy Bees – for years 1,2, and 3 (ages 5-7)
  • Chattering cheetahs – for years 4, 5, and 6 (ages 8-11)

We have a large team of leaders who are easy to spot as they wear bright red T-shirts (and we are always keen for more leaders to join us – no previous experience necessary.)

At St Paul’s the children go to their activities about midway through the service.
There is a Creche for 0 -3 year olds and there is our Sunday club for 4-10 year olds which divides into two groups.
One Sunday each month the children remain in Church for a Family gathering.
The children across both sites have fun with a variety of activities, including play, arts/crafts, music/worship, bible study and learning about Jesus in a variety of ways.

TESTIMONIES
We know that God is always doing amazing things and we want to make sure that we share the stories to inspire other people. So on a regular basis we make space available for people to share something great that God has done for them recently.
